Video from the recent landing on Mars chronicles the final minutes of descent, and landing on the Red Planet.
Images from the Mars Rover consisted of multiple images stitched together to give us a 360 degree view of what Mars and its stars looked like. Several images made up one whole image so we now have an expanded view of the terrain in colour.
Prophetic words are parts of God’s bigger picture. When several people prophesy they may each have a piece of that bigger picture. We can stitch all the words together, to find the golden thread that runs through your prophetic words.
The apostle Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 13:9 “Now our knowledge is partial and incomplete, and even the gift of prophecy reveals only part of the whole picture”(NLT)
When I started in the prophetic I felt stuck and challenges with prophetic words of doing public speaking or teaching. It made no sense why God was calling me to do public speaking. I was terrified of speaking in front of large groups of people. It was way out of my comfort zone.
I could not see the bigger picture. I received small fragments of prophecies which did not fit into my immediate comfort zone. It was like having a road map with many different routes to follow to one destination. Which road was I to take? Some trips would take me through terrain that was uncomfortable or unfamiliar.
God called out the purpose and destiny of my ministry through prophets. I could measure those words against scripture and discern if that word was for me. I parked those words on a shelf and would revisit them occasionally.
A transformation had to take place in my identity in Christ. This transformation would bring change to the way I saw myself through God’s eyes. It would also impact how I saw God’s people through His eyes.
Jesus said My Sheep hear My voice. His voice is saturated with love, acceptance and grace. These are words to encourage, comfort and uplift you.
For the activation today revisit your prophetic words that have not come to fruition yet.
What is the Holy Spirit highlighting to you in your prophecies? Is it identity, opportunity, maybe it is filled with purpose or acceptance?
The apostle Paul writes to Timothy and says (1 Timothy 1:18-19) “… I am giving you this command in keeping with the prophecies once made about you, so that by recalling them you may fight the battle well, holding on to faith and a good conscience.”
Recall your prophecies and meditate on them. Hold onto your faith and let it speak life into your circumstances.
You might already have several pieces of God’s bigger picture for your life. Can you stitch all the words together to find the golden thread? Pray and ask the Lord for wisdom, knowledge and understanding to receive an interpretation or application for the words you have. If you are unsure take your words to a pastor or a friend and let them pray and discern with you. There is wisdom in the council of many.
Until next time, keep prophesying!
Be blessed.
