If there is one thought to take to heart today may it be that you are deeply loved by the Father. Our prophetic words should carry the nature and character of God, His love spoken over you. But what if we have heart limitations that prevent us from seeing the truth?
Ephesians 1: 3-8 (NLT) “ All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ. Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure. So we praise God for the glorious grace he has poured out on us who belong to his dear Son. He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins. He has showered his kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding.”
Child of God you are accepted and highly favoured in Christ. May you taste and see the goodness of God and know you are set free from any and all condemnation in Christ. You are a citizen of heaven and cannot be separated from the Father’s love. You are not helpless but hopeful in Christ, chosen, adopted, redeemed, forgiven, unconditionally loved and accepted. You are pure, blameless and forgiven. We have received the hope of spending eternity with God.
There are four heart limitations that will inhibit our ability at accurately interpret or receive our prophetic words. The limitations are caused by pride, offenses, sin and fleshly Judgement. These limitations place a filter between the truth and our perceptions.
Knowing we are blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ, when we discern spiritual input it is important to ask the Lord if we have any unforgiveness, pride or sin, and then repent from that.
For the activation today spend some time in the presence of the Lord by reading Ephesians 1. Ponder on your identity in Christ. Then ask the Lord to highlight any unforgiveness or pride in your heart that He wants you to deal with. If any thought come to mind then repent of that and accept the forgiveness in Christ. To finish off the activation praise and worship the Lord and give thanks for all that He has done for you.
I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. (Ephesians 1:18-19)
May you rest assured today that you are deeply loved and highly favoured by God.
